mitch is one of the most prolific and involved posters to the list. he has suffered some significant losses in recent months, and the list has played an important role in helping him through them.

those of us who have been on the list for a while know mitch maybe better than almost any other list member. when he and his daughter katie took a cross country road trip in the summer of 1999, they met many list members in person-- probably more than anyone else on the list has.

when katie died in a car accident on christmas day of 1999, mitch posted to the list two days later and we all shared in his pain.
